May 2021 'Shining Darkly' by Jo Turner-Rowe

The very first of our Gallery Wall guest artists is Jo Turner-Rowe. Each month we will be featuring a mini solo exhibition in the center of the gallery featuring a guest artist and we start with Jo.

Jo works in glass and ceramics to produce beautiful pieces often inspired by the coast or full of colour and light.

She will bring a selection of her most recent works featuring stunning glass mounted on bespoke made iron frames as well as mermaid busts sculpted from ceramic.

With her background in science, she has developed her own glazes to resemble bronze and combines glass with ceramic to create truly unique pieces that look amazing when hung or mounted to the wall.
